How It All Began
The Sewing Studio has been the heart of the Lubbock area sewing community for nearly 40 years. The knowledge and expertise acquired during this time makes us a leader in our field. If The Sewing Studio is the heart of our community, then our staff is the soul – an army of former teachers with a passion for passing their knowledge and creativity to others. The success of any project is knowing the tried and true methods and tools. We want to make sure you are welcomed and feel well equipped to tackle any sewing project on your own.

Still Here 40 Years Later
Today, The Sewing Studio remains the center of a creative community and provides over 1,500 bolts of quality cotton fabric and hundreds of thread options for quilting, sewing, embroidery, and crafting. Our wall of sewing notions, rulers, and patterns will help you on your path to creating beautiful personalized projects. You will also find more buttons than one person could count in a lifetime!
We are very proud to offer the full line of Baby Lock sewing and embroidery machines. Let us help you find the perfect machine! Getting to know you and the types of projects you enjoy, helps us find the right sewing machine to fit your needs. We always want you to feel supported. With any purchase, you will receive in person training classes on your machine and a helping hand whenever needed. You can also count on us when your machine needs service, even if that is many years later.

Sew Informative meets at the beginning of each month and focuses on new products and project. Sew Social is held a couple of Mondays each month to offer time for you to bring any project you are working on and get advice and sew with others. Check out our calendar for a variety of project classes that run each month.
