$ 5.00 Quilt Block

     About 5 years ago we started a program that has  steadily gained in membership.   If you are not familiar with it here is how it works:

    You come into the store and purchase a quilt block kit for $ 5 .00, which includes fabric and pattern to complete one 12" quilt square.  You complete the block and bring it back on the 1st Tuesday of the following month to receive your next block free! Our rules are simple, but we make no exceptions! 

    1.) You must come on the correct day (the first tuesday of the month)

    2.) You must come in person. (you cannot send someone in your stead.)

    3.) Your quilt block from the previous month must be sewn complete. 

    Now isn't that simple? 

    You can assemble your blocks into a top with your choice of sashings and borders after you accumulate enough squares. 

    In 2008 we did the program slightly different.  Our Quilt is finished and hung in the store. You can finish your quilt just like ours or change the settings to your own specs.  Also we give you two color choices pink floral with cream background or batik with black background. You can do one or both.  One will be free and the other will be $ 5.00.
