Winding Walk Quilt
Winding Walk Quilt with Garden Maze cornerstones: This beautiful quilt lets you embroider the blocks in your hoop on your embroidery machine and looks like you have done curved piecing with decorative stitches overlaid.
Two class dates to choose from:
Saturday, April 3rd 10am to 2pm OR
Thursday, April 8th, 10am to 2pm. $30.0 Class fee
This fee includes the embroidery file. This can be sized to work with any size machine hoop.
The “pieced Blocks” for this quilt are actually machine embroidered foundation pieced in four sections in the embroidery hoop.
The maximum width of your largest embroidery hoop will determine the finished block size.
For example, if you have the Ellisimo and you have the 8” hoop, your block size will finish 16”. If you have the Ellegante and your largest hoop width is 7”, then your block will finish 14. If you have the Ellageo or Esante and your largest hoop width is 6 ¼”, then your block will finish 12”. The Ellure machine’s hoop width is 5” and block size will be 10” square. Your finished block sizes will determine the fabric required and your quilts final size. Note that the second 8” hoop column has a larger size quilt and that is done by adding larger borders. Any of the smaller size hoops can also have larger borders added if the quilt is not as big as you desire. Just let us know the size you need and we will help you figure yardage.
